Hi. Well ages ago I read half a book and I can't remeber the name of it. I really want to finish it! This is what I can remeber of the plot.
There is this girl who lives in an orphanage. She is around 12-ish and no one will adopt her becuase she is concidered old and "passed her used by date". Anyway this girl then randomly and mysteriously get's sponsored by a stranger to attend a colledge for young girls (actually it could have been co-ed). All that the mysterious person (pretty sure it's a man) wants in return is that she writes to him every day to tell him about her day. Ok now I had this hunch that the sponsor wasn't human. And the front page kinda suggested that it was a spider. Now I think that this is set around late 1800's or early 1900's.
I could be slightly wrong about some of the plot as I read it around 4 years ago but if anyone even thinks they know the name please respond. Thanks, much appriciated!
