Forgot to confess a sin during confession?

I went to confession, and I remembered what to confess for the most part.

As I left, I remembered that I forgot to confess that I missed Sunday Mass because of a family trip.

Am I forgiven or was it a bad confession?

Do I need to go to confession again and re confess that sin and all the ones from the previous confession?

Just out of curiosity, what good do you think it does to confess to any man, that should be confessed to God in prayer? Do you imagine some man could actually forgive sin? As a male, I know we cannot.

As God is the only one able to grant any human extended life, this puts men in a decidedly bad position. Useless.

If it was just an honest mistake, don't worry too much about it. You can confess it the next time you go, just mention it to the priest.

If you were repentant, and meant to make a full confession, you're still forgiven and it was a good confession. You still have to confess that sin next time you confess, but it isn't actually hanging over you now.
