Forgetfull turns into Distressful

In class we have to me a movie, so we were all divided into groups, one person in every group had to bring a video camera for their group. We finnished our script and blah blah blah, so finnaly it was time to film the movie. So we got to class tommorow and (Suprise!) the group member forgot her camera. THe next day, the same thing, and so n and so forth. So now the movie is due next week and she forgot her camera yesterday. I'm one of main characters so I have to be in it. Unfortunately, I have infected lips (Its worse than it sounds. I can't eat or talk without experiencing excrutating pain. I now have to play charades or have a notebook handy to say things) so I can't film it today. We only have that class on monday, tuesday, and wensday, so when I added it up, it means we only have 3 days to film and edit it. Its due next wensday! And we had a month!:furious:

At least it's an out of class project. Once my presentation partner was absent for a month and didn't answer her phone. She came in finally the day of the presentation and the teacher made us present... We literally had nothing.
 
so, uhm, can you drop that person out of your group and have some other member bring a camera tomorrow? obviously this girl has no sense of responsibility and/or no interest in passing this project. You should just finish the project without her and not put her name on it. That way she fails and the rest of you can get a grade, even if it's a crappy one since you have so little time to finish.

She's not. This forum is imsignificant others who have messed up and we've gotten in trouble. The girl's npot exactly the most significsnt in class, but I am more significant then her. Everybody says so.
 
Have one of the folks on your project team pick up the camera owner to make sure she brings the equipment to class.

Play your character like Marcel Marceau - figure out how to act the whole part as a mime until/unless you are able to talk.

It's a drag when other folks let you down, but that's going to happen whether you're in school, at work, or just visiting real life. It's always a good idea to figure out options, just in case. Explore that creativity!

Fun fun fun....

Well.... umm... if you have some medicine for your infection, use it. If its going slow, then umm... Just go to the doctor and ask him about one that could heal your infection faster. (I know you cant talk, but take a family member or something.) Ofcourse, thats what I would do.
