Ford windstar air conditioning problem. help!?

the system is probably still undercharged kiscking itself out on low pressure the click you hear is the compressor clutch kicking in and out. you need more refrigerant
 
ok the situation is in the 1998 Ford Windstar air was hot ,so i recharged it following the instructions, but it didnt get cold. it also clicks on and off every ~2-4 seconds. what could be the problem? thanks
