...about to make!!!? Okay so I have a 1992 Ranger 2wd, 2.3 Liter, 4 cylinder. I am looking at trading this guy for his old 1982 F-100 that was a 300 straight 6 but has been converted to a 302 V8 small block. It still has the Granny 4 speed transmission though and his is 4x4 with locking hubs. The only problem is I just Don't know what I should do. I KNOW my truck is pretty good on gas and is dependable, yes it has flaws on both the inside and outside, but still. The F100 needs cosmetic work mainly, the guy says that it runs really good and is dependable and gets around 20 MPG city. So here is the bad about the F100:
- There's a crinkle in the driver's door
- The Interior is torn up, dash is cracked, seat is torn, little flaws here and there
- There's no breather on the Carb
- Needs to be sanded down and painted
- Apparently the ring on the gasket for the exhaust manifold is worn out so it has a slight leak.
Basically I just need some good, friendly advice from you Ford owners and Experts out there. Is this a good deal? Are the things that are wrong with this truck a big deal? Maybe tell me what you would do in my situation? If you have any questions that you need to ask to better help with giving me advice, feel free to leave an e-mail address I could reach you at. Any and all help is much appreciated. No asshole's please, if you can't be nice, don't bother commenting.
