I inherited a 2000 Ford wagon with very low miles. The key fob, which I believe to be a factory one, was working fine, was not dropped but stopped activating anything with the car. I tried the battery and that did not help. If the battery to the car is disconnected briefly does that affect that system? or what else could it be?
