Ford Taurus '01 AC problem?

it has a little over 70k miles on it, and the AC worked fine until a couple months ago when my mom used the heater in the car once. since then the AC air hasn't been able to come out cold. the refrigerant levels are fine and the pressure is good (on the low pressure side). could it be a switch, or a faulty impeller or something minor? (hopefully) is there an AC problem with my type of car that is very common?

i would guess that the vacuum operated temp mixer isnt operating properly and it has heat funneled into you car should be a simple fix
