Ford SVT Focus vs. Acura Intecgra GSR vs. Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T/GSX?

I am looking for a fun, cheap used car around the $6,000-$7,000 range, and I saw an article on Edmunds last week describing a few options, and I picked out a few favorites. I narrowed it down to these three. Does anyone have any recommendations? Has anyone been able to drive a combination of these cars? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Do yourself a favor and strike the ford focus of your list. Own one for 2yrs now and nothing but trouble. Back to back I had to replace parts and I say had, cause it completely died on me now and just sitting in my driveway. The engine gave up.
Would never recommend anyone to puchase a focus. Two friends of mine own the same vehicle and go thrue the same problemes.
Am in the market for a new used car myself since my car died on me and I don't even look at offers for focus.
