Ford ranger or toyota "pre" tacoma truck.?

I cant decide if i want the 1996 ranger or the 1995 tacoma. The 1996 Ford Ranger has Extra Cab V6 3.0L 5 Speed 4x4 164K Miles XL Model AM/FM Stereo, CD Player, Sliding Rear Window, Towing Pkg, Alloy Wheels. The toyota has 203k miles, the 3.0L 4x4 manual 5 speed extra cab cruise control, a/c, cd player, and off road lights. The ranger costs $3995 and the toyota costs $3995
 
The Toyota is better but some of the toyota 3.0's (3VZE) were not that reliable.
i would look for a toyota tacoma 1995-1996, they came with the 3.4 (5VZ-FE) motor which is way more powerful and reliable.

dont get me wrong.... the ranger is a really good truck. but the toyota will last longer. plus... the ranger is overpriced
