FORD RANGER! Is it a good truck for LandScaping work?

Was wondering if the Ford Ranger 3.0 liter Automatic was good for lawn care work plus pressure washing. Like pulling a medium size trailer with two riding mowers and all the lawn equipment! I read that these trucks have a VERY strong axle with alot of pulling capability.

Don't wanna get a full size truck because they will be too long with the trailer and it will be hard to steer. Plus I'd like to put it in my back yard when im not using it!

Any suggestions? Comments? Advice for lawn care business? Thank!

OK, I have the Mazda equivalent of your Ford Ranger. I have a Mazda B 3000. I use it as a parts truck at my salvage yard. I have close to250,000miles on it. It runs great. Here are a few suggestions. 1. replace the rear shocks with "Monror LOAD LEVELER shocks. replace the front shocks with Monroe heavy duty. 2. If you are hauling a trailer witha ride mower add a leafspring kit also this will give you about 4000lbs tow capacity. If you have a 5 speed transmission you need a heavy duty clutch kit installed. For automatic transmission add a Transmission oil cooler External type with at least a 2 qt. capacity
