Ford Ranger Engine Swap.?

I roasted my engine in my 98 ranger. It has a 3.0 V6 with a manual trans behind it. I have the potential opportunity to buy a wrecked 01 ranger with a 3.0 and auto trans behind it. The motor was not touched in the wreck. My question is: Will the wiring harnesses/bell housing match up in my truck if I swap the 01 into my truck?
