I have a 1991 Ranger 4.0 with no compression in one cylinder. Lifter use to tap for about 10 minutes when cold and now it don't. Engine has 196,000 miles but always ran good till 1100 mile trip. Any suggestions about what is causing dead cylinder and running rough.Is getting fuel and spark to it.Lifter,push rod or valve problem? Any help appreciated.
