Ok, so I have a 96 Contour that I recently purchased (gas mileage)...Eventually I am going to completely upgrade the sound system, but i am still saving for it ($100 a week doesn't add up fast, I am olny 16, though)
Anyway, for right now I am stuck with the standard tape deck. But I have a problem with the clock. I realize I could just get a new dash clock, but I'd rather deal with something cheaper first.
My 96 owners manual has the radion listed, but my radio has somethng it does not show: a clock feature. instead of a #6 preset, there is a button that displays a clock. Problem is that all the radioes listed in my owners manual show a #6 preset
basically, my question is : does anyone know how to set the clock on a mid-90s ford radio with a tape deck without resetting the battery at 12:00 every 6 mos?
