Ford Puma , Good choice?

hi , i am looking to buy a ford puma as a first car and i need some info about its reliability , cheap insurance ? or is it generally a good car , cheap servicing etc ? i was going to buy a mercedes A class initally but have been told that it is the worst car to buy esp. if you dont earn a lot (like me). So any info about the ford puma would be really appreciated . thanks!
 
The Puma is excellent to drive and a bit of a collectors item so it will keep its value. As it is based on a fiesta it will be cheap to fix, but insurance will be steep as it is still a bit racier than a supermini.
