Can anyone tell me is an OEM parts number has been superseded? Is there any way anyone knows that the public can get to the FoMoCo parts system?
Before you answer I want to first say I am a parts pro. with over 9 years in the business. This is for my own car and popular cataloging is incorrect. This number is off the headlight switch on my 1964 Galaxie 500, BWD shows a S144, but this is a 7 pin. Mine is an 8 pin.
Also, if anyone out there has a sickly vast knowledge of old Ford, have you ever seen a Motorcraft electronic ingnition retro fit from around the mid 1970's. This would likely be CA thing for emissions.
