gas line plugged, or blocked by a foreign object?
improper fix of fuel and air to support combustion due to faulty sensor?
broken throttle link?

Check your crank position sensor. Some of the earlier fords had them dome didn't. There is also a fuse in the fuse box that might be blown. I know that in the Chevy it is the ECM fuse.

refering to pc mans answer if you did all of that i would say the timing chain went, easy way to check= take distributor cap off, and have someone watch when you turn it over to see if rotor is spinning CCW
