Ford Mustang Vs. Chevy Camaro?

Hey, I need help choosing a car!! I turn 16 in like 6 months and need a nice ride!! Inform me the pros and negatives of each of these!!! I'm looking at either getting an NEW 09-10 Mustang or a Camaro! What is better? And Why?? And Don't Even Say "Dude You're 16! Get A Used Piece of Shit!!" Well I don't work that way! So Just Answer The Question Please!!

both of these are poor choices for a first car. you're going to be paying either one off long after you wrap it around a telephone pole.

im NOT saying get a "used p.o.s."; what i am saying is that with that kind of dough you get yourself a really nice used car for 8-10 grand at the most and put the rest into an interest bearing account. you'll care a whole lot less when some idiot bumps you while parking, or some old lady just lets her shopping cart fly, or when some jack@ss flings his door into yours.

the alternative is to turn 30-40 thousand dollars into half that or less in a year's time or less. I wont even get into how hard you're gonna get banged on insurance, being your age, a dude, and with a ride like that. lets just say that either of those cars new + 4-5 years of insurance costs more than many people spend on a college degree or down payment on a house. think about it.


edit: james- the mustang's being older isnt necessarily good. they havent changed the suspension on jeeps for over forty years, and that DOES NOT mean that they are great handling vehicles
 
Yeah, right. Dream on 16 Y/O. If you're not still in school, you're working at Mc Donnalds, and you can't buy a 30,000 dollar car. NICE idea though.
 
the mustang has been around longer than the camaro and the design has stayed pretty much the same so you can't go wrong with it
but you could by both and give me the one you don't want
 
Camaro....mustangs are way to popular....get something unique.....i wouldnt recommend getting an expensive car because you WILL crash it....when i mean crash tht doesnt mean like totalling it or hitting a tree or something....i mean like scraping a curb or bumping a wall.....just giving you some advice...not trying to piss u off....it happens to everyone dude
