Ford Mondeo 1998 steering leak?

Steering Fluid leak under radiator, repair procedure please.
Want to do this myself as quite skint and will be taking kids on holiday Tuesday.
I understand this is a common problem. Just need to know how to get access to the pipes behind bumper and underneath the radiator.
Just happened, car has been sitting for a couple of weeks, drove it tonite, noisy when steering left or right, fine when staright etc. Checked fluid, all gone, then saw it all under the bulkhead.

Steering is very critical. Swallow the expense and get a professional to fix it.

If you are taking the kids on holiday, your car needs to be in perfect order.

What is more important, saving a few pounds, or protecting your children?
