Hi,
I have a Ford Ka R Reg with 33k on the clock, it was a little noisy and so I took it to my local garage and the owner told me it need tuning or a new head. This was the only problem though.
He told me to keep the costs down I could buy a head and he'd fit it for me, which i did.
He then told me there was a problem with some of the rubbers, so i said to replace those too.
My car has been in the garage for three weeks now and they have just told me that it was running fine but now the rocker and the cam have gone.
Not being to mechanically minded, but how can the cam have gone it it was running fine.
Please help me because i think they may have caused more damage which I now have to pay for.
Thay are also not willing to work on the car until the owner gets back and he's gone on holiday.
Can anyone advise me of what to do.
