Ford Ka or Daewoo Matiz?

So, I've finally cut my car shortlist down to two cars, the 1998 Ford Ka or 1998 Daewoo Matiz. They are sold at roughly the same price and the insurance costs about the same for both cars. Which do you think is best for a young new driver? Which is more reliable? Which do you think I'd be better of getting? Please give reasons for your answers and thank you in advance.
 
If I was you I would trust in the Ford. Ford have been making cars for a lot longer than Daewoo and have a long and illustrious reputation. Plus I would not want a car made by a company that makes video recorders also.
 
Fod ka would be a better car for you as it has cheap parts when broken down the matiz is nice but i would go Ford
 
Ka - just a lot better than the Matiz in every way you can think of although I have to say neither will ever be on my short list - that does not mean the Ka is not good for you though
