i want to buy and restore a 70's muscle/pony car and i always loved the 72 gran torino and the are some of them in my country (IRAN) so i was thinking of buying one but my friend said that torinos have severe rust and paint peeling issues!!!! is there any way to solve these problems? is the peeling case only for factory stock paintjobs?
for your info it's gonna be my only car so it's not gonna be wrapped in silk in my garage!!!! but then again i won't use it much beacuse there's always my family's car to do the daily commuting .
