FORD FOCUS VS TOYOTA COROLLA?

Should i buy a 2009 toyota corolla or a 2009 ford focus? My family had a ford escort die on them after only 7 years, of hard use though. Well i cant decide what would be a better choice. The corolla is 18,000 the ford is 17000. What to choose..

we have a corrolla and a focus, The corrolla is a very reliable car and gets great gas millage. The ford focus has a lot of electrical problems like the windows not working and the lights in side the car don't turn on. This is the 2000 model, i think the newer ones are better. Both cars are good but the corrolla is probably better. Toyota makes very reliable cars.

the Toyota will have a higher resale and is definitely more reliable.

i had a corolla great cars! last forever. toyotas the way to go. fords are garbage.
