I have a 2000 focus wagon, with an error message that says the TPS has low voltage or is malfunctioning.
I am having trouble determining if it is single or dual cam.
Auto zone has a new TPS for the single cam ($16), but shows no parts for the dual cam.
Someone at autozone said that because the 8th digit of my VIN is a 3 and not a P I have a dual CAM.
Is this correct? Is there any other malfunction I should check before I attempt to replace this part?
