I own a ford focus and recently the scale on my speedometer stopped working. It shows incorrect speed!For instance, it would show that I am driving 60mph when I am only driving 25mph. Now, this is a problem for me because my car is a manual and I only started to drive recently so I can't always hear the engine and know when I am supposed to shift (like my dad). Sometimes, I actually have to look at the speed... Anyway, my dad knows a little bit about cars but even he can't figure out why this is happening. Does anyone know to what the scale may be connected or what the problem is?
