ford focus fog light fuse keeps blowing?

hi i have checked all connections, changed all bulbs and even changed one of the front fogs as it had a crack in it.been told it may be a short but were do i start as never done anything like that before. also tell-tale light not working for fog lights.its a 1.8 w reg. cheers.
 
You have a short somewhere in the circuit. As it probably doesn't blow the fuse immediately, there's an intermittent factor happening. This would be a worn bare wire touching the body or an internal short in the bulb body or even in the tell tale light socket. Shorts like these can be a real bugger to find.
