I have a ford focus 1.6 tdci estate car, 2005 plate. I only bought is about 6 weeks ago. I noticed it was leaking oil, so did oil change and immedialty the engine was a little noisy, but after a good drive it went away. Then it was still leaking oil and i phoned the garage and they told me to take it to local garage to have it looked at. They stripped it and put back together and no longer leaking, but when i drove it away after 15 mins the engine made very loud whirry ticky noises so i took it back to garage. The work they had already done came to about £500. They have stripped it again and cannot see anything wrong with the engine (new engine over £1000) so at a loss as to what to do now! Obviously it isnt right but just dont know why not as nothing visible! Any ideas please?
