I am trying to hook up some amps into my 2009 Ford Flex SEL,
It has the premium Sony Sound System but that is not enough for me,
So I am trying to hook up amps the the stock stereo with the speaker level inputs, but for the life of me I can't seem to figure out what wires are the speakers. I found a wireing diagram for the 2009 Ford Flex, found wires the ressemble the Rear Right speaker, I cut the wires, hook them up to the amp, all I get out of the amp is hardly any sound and a bunch of static, but what is even more odd is the Rear Right speaker in the Flex is still outputing audio, so what wire did I cut? all the speakers have audio still coming out of them.
From the wiring diagram it looks like wires go from the dash to an amp, then from the amp to all the speakers. Where is this so called amp?
If anyone has any knowlage with a 2009 Ford Flex stereo Install I could use it. Thanks
