Ford Fiesta ST, running costs, insurance etc?

I'm after a used fiesta ST in a year or so's time. Something from 2005 onwards with a 2L petrol engine. I'm 19 at the moment, will have 2 years no claims come november.
I know they're group 16 or something on insurance, can anyone who owns one tell me what they're paying on it please :)
Also how are they for reliablity, service/parts prices, tax, MPG and most importantly speed? :P And anything I should look out for when buying used ones?
 
your going to be paying probably £3000 at least on that. I've had the same situation i wanted a group 13 this year and it was going to be nearly £2000 on the insurance( i was 20 with three years no claims) but soon ill have 4 years no claims and i'm 21, and the insurance is going to drop down a lot. I've got a quote for when I've got the 4 years no claims on a 3.0L toyota supra very fast 0-60 4.9secs, group 19 and that's going to cost me £1300 on insurance so it's definitely worth waiting

As for the fiesta 2.0 ST:
They've got a good rating for reliability
Ford parts are some of the cheapest around
Tax will be currently £204
There group 13 not 16
They do 38.2 mpg (average)
0-60mph: 7.9secs
Top speed : 129mph
BHP: 150BHP

Comes with plenty of sporty things such as sport seats, ST alloys, ST sterring wheel, sport gear knob and handbrake

Don't let insurance put you off iv'e allways paid excesive amounts for my insurance but it's all worth it especially if you love your cars
