ford fiesta mk6 1.4l?

I am considering buying a ford fiesta mk6, it will be the 1.4l engine unfortunately because my insurance will cost a bomb otherwise. I was wondering how the car handles, the acceleration, is it quick(ish) or what?

Actually, you are buying this car for fuel economy, not speed, so get used to old ladies passing you on their bicycles going up hill.
