ford fiesta 97 alarm, where is it?

Hi i have a 97 fiesta, and need to reassign the key fob to the alarm system. Now to do this i need to get to the actual alarm. This was an aftermarket device fitted to the car before i got it. I belive it to be a GT alarm device, which pairs with a fob GT82TXC.

Does anyone know where the most likly place for an aftermarket alarm of this type would be fitted before i go tearing my dash out?!
