I have a Ford Falcon AU Series II 2000 Model and the key is chipped so that the car can not turn on without the key being in the ignition, to help eliminate theft.
Now for the problem, I just purchased an alarm system for it a "Spy" brand alarm w/ Remote Engine Start capabilities.
Will the Remote Engine Start work on it, i suppose the question is, does the alarm over ride the chipping technology in the key?
