ford f250 4x4 or gmc?

im gettin my licence soon and i found a 86 gmc diesel with the 6.2L. if i would buy that i would swap motors and put a 350 in it so that i dont have to worry about gellin up in winter time. how hard is that too do? i also found a 95 or 96 ford f250 diesel 4x4 but i would like to put a 351 in it so again i dont have to worry about it gellin up. which is eassier to do? and where could i get a brand new 350 motor or a 351 motor? thanks, reggie
 
Yah, like Chris says, just buy the truck you need. The motor swap is too expensive and much too hard to do. Also, don't buy a domestic. They are utter garbage. Get a Toyota Tundra or a Nissan Titan.
