Ford F150 or Ford Explorer?

I'm planning to buy my first vehicle, im 16 and have worked out a deal to help me pay for it, so the money isn't an issue (work 2 jobs). As of now, im stuck between a few different models of each. The F150's im looking at are 1999-2002's and the explorers im looking at are 2002-2004s. i'm stuck on which i should get. F150 or Explorer. any feedback is good, thanks, i don't want a small car, so if your gonna suggest that over those 2 than don't bother answering, thanks people
