ford f-150 when traveling down the highway between speeds of 40-70there is a whining...

...whistling noise ,i? have a ford f-150 5.4.when traveling down the highway Between speeds of 40-70mph there is a whining type whistling noise hard to pin point. i know its not wheel bearings.it seems if you tap the foot peddle it goes away.and also if you put it in neutral it goes away..
