I forgot to say in the first question that my initial applicaton will be on an 8-inch secion or the first overspray. The 2nd will be on a 1 foot section. Is it best to put a geberous or sparing amount on, and let it sit and THEN remove with a damp shirt? For how long?

I have a White 1991 Ford Escort with varying levels of Blue Spray Paint overspray on my door and other rear paint areas. I want to remove it back to the White, i was considering making a custom Black Paint design but im not doing that yet, either over the white or the blue, but there is one area i must remove regardless.

Im on the shady side of the car. I have a chair. I have Turtle Wax MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS Heavy Duty Cleaner Rubbing Compound and am bringing out a bottle of hot water. The compound is Brown.

I was told it will remive the Blue Spray Overspra and NOT take off the White paint underneath.

What is the best way to remove it wth this? Should i let the compund sit on it vs. Takin right off? Or should i buy the 'reducer' the other guy said to buy? I almost bought 'Paint Remover' but the guy said that would take it down to the metal.

My rag is an old orange t-shirt.

Thank You.

(Im a novice at the car, please help me do this. Thank You.)
