Ford Escort Radio Code HELP?

Hi, is there anyway to get the code for my radio ?
i removed my cars battery today and without thinking about the radio, it has reset its self and now its saying enter code..

is there anyway to get the code for the radio without paying like £30 from a ford dealer?

Its the original radio from a escort mk6 1998.. the big chunky one with the cd player.

There is a program you can download from the internet that calculates the code from the serial number.

I don't know wether or not its legal though...

try googling. This program definetly exists.
