Im attempting to use Rubing Compound as a paint removed for light, medium and heavy spray paint overspray. Its a 1991 Ford Escort and i bought Turtle Wax Heavy Duty Cleaner Rubbing Compound.
Finally reading the directions, i see it says to 'apply with damp applicator' before it dries. I see it wasnt gonna do anything in 10 minutes.
I wet the t-shirt and added with moisture, a light amount sometimes medium.
How long shall i let it sit for before i wash it off and rub it off w the overspray? And should i next use 1) fine sandpaper, 2) 'reducer,' or 3) Nu Finish car polish?
My car is white and blue overspray ison it, kind of a lot. Thanks
