Why would my automatic escort start fine on key idle fine (about 850/900 rpm) but when you put it into drive or sometimes reverse it jumps... feels like engine is gonna crash out of front of car then most of time stalls? also.. i have a loud whirring/grinding sound when i start to accelerate (usually about 30mph up) is the car dying or is there some easy fixes?
