S Stephen L New member Sep 10, 2009 #1 I've replaced the old CD player that didn't work at all with a used just like it. The new (used) CD player, however, works but it will not play a CD in slot 1 and slot 6. Slots 2,3,4 and 5 work fine. Why will 1 and 6 not play CD's??
