hi ya im in need of a bit of advice!! my car decided to die last weekend, rac came out to recover and they immediately said that the alternator had died, so i went and bought a recon unit and got my mobile mechanic to come and fit the new one to the car.
on closer inspection he said that it was not the alternator that was the problem it was one of the leads had come loose and all it needed to do was to be reconnected!! great news except he couldn't UNSCREW the bolt that was holding the original wire in place. has anyone got any tips or a how to remove the alternator guide, as he is coming back tomorrow to sort it out, really doing my nut in now as i have had no car for a week and a half now. HELP!!!!!:ma d5:
