I just puchased a Spectre cold air intake for my 2001 Ford F-150 with a 4.6 Liter V8. I took it home and installed it per instructions. Now whenever i crank the truck, change gears, or rev the motor, i get this loud, obnoxious, sucking/buzzing noise. I know that the intake is supposed to make more noise, but is it supposed to be an off and on kinda deal? I mean, this is a loud, embarassing noise that sounds like the truck is falling apart. Is this normal?
