I got a built 302 and the question is, it had accel plug wires on it, pretty expensive plug wires. And anywho the headers burned up one of my plug wires or rather its burning up the boot on it rather than the wire, the wires are cliped away from the headers its just the boot that the problem, so I replaced the wire. And come to find out its burning it again, is there anything I can do to stop this?

If additional clearance can not be made for the plug wire and boot, purchase some asbestos wrap and either wrap part of the header pipe or the wire and boot.

I saw a car recently that had heat shields on the plug wires. They were some sort of soft , thick, fiberglass mesh. They were about 4-5 inches long. It's kind of a lame answer for you though because I have no idea where they got them. I just know they exist.

Another option would be header wrap for the first 6" of the header tubes.
