I just got a F250 with 5 speed manual and a 5.0 engine, I got it kinda cheap (500 bucks) but the transmission has problems, it makes a strange noise and it's very difficult to shift. Sometimes I have to turn it off and start from 1 gear to get it moving again, and it makes this noise kinda like a combination between a humming and something being squeezed ( I don't know if that makes any sense but anyways) the guy that I got it from told me that he just replaced the master cylinder and also the salve master cylinder and that he replaced the clutch about 16 months ago, and that he was just tired of messing around with it, he also said that he did not think that the transmission was bad, and I agree, the transmission seems to be fine.....once the gears are in it does not vibrate or makes any noise
