I got some water in the tranny during some floods but i was able to drive my 3.0 ranger without any issues for months when one day 5th gear wouldnt engage and the O/D light started blinking at me with code P0735 (5th gear ratio) every gear shifts and engages fine and if i drive in the city I wouldnt know anything's wrong but when i go on the highway the transmission only goes up to 4th and stays there all the time, I noticed overdrive DOES engage when im going down a hill or if i release the gas it goes right in but as soon as i open the throttle a little bit it downshifts back to 4th. it only engages without load but can't keep overdrive on. Whats going on? the fluid doesnt seem "burned" i did a fluid service on it with proper fluid but it didn't help and i didn't see excess material on the magnet. Rebuild? (for the 5th time -_-)
