Ford 4.2 v-6 2003 ...longevity?
I have a chance to purchase a cargo van with the 4.2 V-6 engine. Anyone have knowledge of this engines longevity. Is it bullet proof like the old straight 6? Obviously, I understand it needs routine oil changes for good longevity. I was wondering if it had any reputation like the 302 or the dodge 3.3. Thanks in advance for any advice.
I don't want to leave out the GM 3.8 or the 350, 4.3.........
