J Jay New member Jun 20, 2009 #1 gets very hard.? When the engine heats up the upper hose gets pretty hard and dosn't seem to be flowing through the radiator, the heater hoses are hot and the lower hose is hot, after I shut it down and it cools down the upper hose is soft.
