dash (should be). WHY? Had winter rims installed at dealer yesterday. Current wheels removed and now in my basement. I can confirm that tpms is still on stock wheels in basement, and dealer informed me, you will be seeing yellow light on dash until you reinstall stock wheels in spring.
This is worrysome. TO me It means that the TPMS function is non existant or dead at the control unit level, which is bad in itself, even worse if the instrument cluster is faulty. I have noticed a couple of other things I am not sure if normal (cannot enable or disable autounlock/autolock on manual transmission escape using Ford's programming sequences, some users have reported impossible altho manual states it is).
Sad for a brand new Escape. Ford techs or engineers pls help. I don't have hour to spend at dealers, and I am worried about build quality/lemon factor.. Fearing the worst.
