I really love latin culture, and I'm really proud to have Spanish blood.

But I got stuck with a HORRID name... Sara Smith. Mediocre gal... how plain and generic can you get?

I'm mixed with some other stuff.

I hate the surname because it makes people think I don't have Spanish blood. I'm really proud that I had Spanish and Irish ancestors, because those cultures really excite me, but when I tell people that, they just laugh and call me a liar: "Yeah, right, and Beyonce is my sister."

I identify with latin culture and would like to take the name of a Spanish ancestor because latin culture is practically half my life and it would mean a lot to have a link to that heritage... and it's embarrassing to have a last name that suggests I don't have Spanish blood.

When I tell people, they accuse me of lying... and it's annoying to have to tell people... I want them to hear my last name and know that I have Spanish ancestry without having to tell them.

My Irish ancestor's last name was King, and I may change it to that instead of the Spanish name (my Spanish ancestor was adopted, I think I know what his name was, but Im not sure).

Plus, Sara Smith is just an awful name... it's so plain and common. I want a name all my own.
