I will randomly fit in a sex talk with my 15 year old. Not on a daily basis but often enough for him to know that he can talk to me or his father. He has been open enough to tell me what he has done and what he has not done. Tells us he knows he is not ready for sex and promises to tlk to his dad if and when he feels he is. Now...we are not condoning him having sex, but if he chooses to make that decision we want to make sure he is protecting himself. How often do you have these talks with your teens??
