For those who like to whine that God doesn't answer prayer...?

think about why he doesn't. Do you really think God is obligated to be your slave? Do you think God should answer prayer when you can do something yourself? Do you think God should answer the prayers of a selfish species like human beings? Do you ever question your beliefs and examine it with reason?

god helps those who helps themselves i've never whined so don't assume i always do things my self that's y i known as a jack of all trades i don't have beliefs and as god don't exist y complain to something that's not a reality duh

Let me see...."Dear God if you help me now I will never drink again", talking to the toilet bowl.

"God let me win the lottery, I will give you ten per cent".

How about "Dear God, Thank you for blessing me and my family with food and shelter".

ask and you shall receive. what father would give his son a snake if he asked for bread...so on and so forth. so why would god give the impression that all you need is faith the size of a mustard seed and you can move mountains, and then say you cannot move that mountain, because god sometimes says no? why would god say, ask and you shall receive, and when asked, he says no? its contradicting. god demands us to be servants, and came down as a man to set the example of being a servant, so yes, he is to be a servant if he requires it from us, otherwise, he is a hypocrate and contradicts himself. according to christians, we are all that is in the universe that god cares for, so who else does he have to answer prayers too but us selfish humans he created? and i always ask questions and examine them, i always try and disprove myself and read articles that question my logic constantly. and i never whine about unaswered prayer, because the world makes sense to me when god is taken out of the equation.

I do not believe god does or does not answer prayer. I simply do not believe in god.

However, if there were a deistic god...the one that started everything, why would he be worried about a few carbon-based organisms on a small, insignificant planet in the middle of nowhere?

To paraphrase George Carlin:

Well if God has a divine plan, then isn't praying a waste of time? I mean if he has this divine plan for all of us that is already decided, then why pray since whatever is going to happen is already gonna happen.

Unless you think that God will change his divine plan for any schmo with a 2 dollar prayer book?

Well, not like he exists, I'm just sayin...
